Shots Fired

The FBI has taken over the investigation after a incident that they say was an assassination attempt on the life of former President Donald Trump.

Thankfully, no person received any physical injuries from the incident.

For a short time on Monday afternoon, residents of Gray Wolf Drive in Arlee were notified by the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office to remain in their homes due to reports of a juvenile firing a weapon while riding a side-by-side UTV.

The man heard his dog barking, footsteps on his deck, and then a gunshot.

Early Thursday morning law enforcement agencies from several jurisdictions, including Missoula, engaged in a high speed chase that began in Gallatin County, closed I-90 in both directions for several hours, and finally ended in Powell County.

Missoula Police Officers responded to the 1800 block of Stephens for the report of a disturbance involving a firearm.

Missoula Police Officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 1200 block of McDonald Avenue.

Early Thursday morning, shots were exchanged in Lake County during what appeared to be an attempted burglary in the Ninepipes area.

Early Wednesday afternoon an unidentified man walked out onto his porch in the University area and fired a rifle several times.

Missoula police officers responded to the 3600 block of Mullan Road for a report of shots fired.

At around 6:30 Sunday night, Missoula police responded to a residence in 1000 block of South 5th Street West.
