After a long drawn out process, Neptune Aviation has finally retired several P2V firefighting aircrafts.

Neptune Aviation's P2V aircraft were retired just days ago, but they're being called out of retirement to help with the fires in California.

Missoula-based Neptune Aviation has been awarded a 5 year contract to provide maintenance services in support of up to 15 Shorts C-23B Sherpa cargo aircraft by the U.S. Forest Service.
