The Montana Department of Transportation is poised to begin the next phase of Russell Street.

The bridge underwent a multi-year renovation costing around $17 million and was officially dedicated as Beartracks Bridge in late 2022.

The City of Missoula plans to launch a study of Reserve Street and consider potential safety changes to the corridor.

They've received permission from MDT (the owners of the camp lands) to open the area to the public for one day.

They are estimating around $65,000 for the repairs and the funding will come from Senate Bill 536.
