Reba McEntire Says Her ‘Love Somebody’ Album Is ‘All Over the Map’
Reba McEntire is releasing her first album in five years on April 14, and she is eager for fans to hear her new music. As the album release date approaches, the talented songstress is revealing more and more about Love Somebody.
“Well it’s got an eclectic feel to it," the legendary singer shares via Big Machine Label Group. "It’s got happy songs, love songs, drinking songs ... you gotta go get drunk so you can make that phone call. It’s all over the map. The duet 'Enough' is kinda like a 2015 version of 'Does He Love You.' And then 'Going Out Like That' is a party anthem and a woman’s anthem of like, I’m not gonna sit back and cry in my Post Toasties, I’m gonna get out and have a good time.”
In late March, the multi-platinum recording artist shared a sneak peek of her catchy breakup song "Until They Don't Love You" on Twitter and Facebook. The lyrics include: "Ain't one the loneliest number / It takes two to make it right / Just three little words I should've told you / Before you left last night / Sometimes you don't love somebody/Until they don't love you."
The album promises to deliver the same iconic style and sound that made McEntire a household name, as well as new tunes that reveal her vocal range and musical depth. Love Somebody contains 12 original songs, but fans can receive two bonus tracks when they buy the album through Target.
