Real Life Mario Kart Race

In Tokyo, a bunch of people dressed up like characters from Nintendo games, got on go carts, and raced through the city streets – Mario Kart style.

Players, dressed in full Mario-Kart gear, took to the streets of one of Tokyo’s busiest districts and tossed stars, Koopa Shells, and banana peels at bi-standers.

If any of these people ever dreamed of being in a Mario Kart video game, they were living the dream.
