The Beef Barn at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds has a new roof. During the past few months, a crew from Titan Builders took off the old metal roof. Even the late snow storm didn't stop them. They replaced some trusses and other supports, then installed a new roof and improved a row of window openings near the top of the building.

Ravalli County Commissioner Jeff Burrows said that all the major buildings at the fairgrounds need care, but a few are in need of larger projects. The Ag Building was first and the Beef Barn was next in line in the current plans to improve the agriculture facilities. Burrows said there at least five more buildings that will be scheduled for major work. He said funding might enable at least one re-roofing a year.
