No Missoula Maze, How About a Trip to Bozeman?
What happened to summer? That sure went by in the blink of an eye. It makes me shudder to think that snow will be here before we know it. With the arrival of fall, the excitement is building around my house for Halloween. But that's not too big of a surprise when you mix two young kids with the promise of free candy.
An alternative to the Missoula Maze
Our family is a little bummed that the Missoula Maze isn't happening this year. It would be amazing if the new owners of the property could find a way to continue the tradition moving forward. It was such a fun destination for families and something we looked forward to every year. If you feel the same way, and you're not opposed to a bit of a drive, you could always road trip over to Bozeman to have a little fall fun with the family.
A bit different, but still sounds fun
Apparently, there isn't a whole bunch of creativity when it comes to the business of naming mazes. Just throw a city on the front and follow it up with "maze." The Bozeman Maze is open for the season but unlike Missoula's corn maze, Bozeman uses straw bales to construct their maze.....5,000 straw bales, to be exact.
Might be worth the drive for some weekend fun
You'll also find an assortment of activities at the Bozeman attraction. Aside from trying to make your way through the twists and turns of the straw bales, you can pick your pumpkin for the season, take a tractor ride, and even do a little bungee jumping. It runs through Halloween and you can get all the info you need including prices and location HERE.
