Direct Flights The Missoula Montana Airport Should Add

Last week, we updated all the direct flight destinations the Missoula Montana Airport offers throughout the year. After Oakland and Orange County were added last week, MSO is up to 14 flights (some are yearly, some are seasonal).

After I posted the article to Facebook, a few people chimed in with suggestions at where MSO should add direct flight destinations, so I constructed "7 Destinations Missoula Montana Airport Should Add Direct Flights To."

Boise, Idaho

Traci L. commented suggesting "Need a direct to BOI!" I agree, Traci. As someone who flies to Boise every year for the Big Sky Conference Basketball Tournaments, I would love a Boise direct flight option.

Sacramento, California

Sandy N. said, "We need a direct to Sacramento!" Similar to the note above, I would love a direct flight to Sac. Every year I travel with the Lady Griz to Sacramento and it would help so much in travel.

Houston, Texas

Dina S. thinks "Houston should be on direct flight, will be pleased even if only seasonal." Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport provides seasonal flights to Houston and Austin. Maybe Missoula should follow suit.

New York City

Jared would like options for the East Coast. "They could maybe do New York City or..."

Washington D.C.

Tampa, Florida

Lara K. is "longing for the few short days back in 2021 we had a direct to Tampa." I don't remember Tampa flights but I would gladly take them.

Spokane, Washington

Chris S. "was hoping Spokane was on the direct flight list." It's a short 3-hour drive, but it wouldn't hurt to add a short flight to the list. Heck, there are many shorter flights out there like Milwaukee to Chicago or Colorado Springs to Denver.
