You hear lots of stories about athletes getting caught taking performance-enhancing pharmaceuticals.

Now it sounds like some bicycles will be taking a few tests in the future.

Allegedly some bike racers are hiding tiny electric motors in their bikes for that little mechanical boost. Steroids for the spokes, I guess. Cycling's world governing body and the International Olympic Committee will on the lookout for the little gadgets. New devices will be used to scan bikes for magnetic fields. If officials are not satisfied with results then the bikes will have to undergo urine testing.    DB
