Montana Ranks #1 in the Highest Percentage of Childhood Bullying

A study that looked at each state's percentage of children bullied appeared on the Montana Reddit page. It appeared there because, unfortunately, Montana ranks number one in states with the highest percentage of children bullied.

The state where children are most likely to experience bullying is Montana. In the past year, 55% of children aged 6-17 were bullied at least once. - PARequirements.com

PARequirements.com focuses on Pennsylvania and child abuse recognition and reporting training, but they looked at the national level and found that Montana had the highest bullying rates nationwide.

The study, by the way, examines several forms of bullying, including physical, verbal, cyber, and social or relational bullying.

Not only were we number one in children reporting being bullied, but we're also number one in most likely to bully. That may be a given, but we checked in with 25.7% of kids reporting they bullied other people at least once in the last year.

Other findings on bullying
