Multi Million Dollar Fenn’s Treasure Has Been Found
I got to say, when I learned of someone finding Fenn's Treasure, I was a little bummed. I had this Goonies style fantasy of one day going on an expedition to find it. But, now the thrill of the chase is gone. Fenn's Treasure has officially been discovered. What is Fenn's Treasure? Fenn's Treasure is a cache of gold, jewelry and artifacts that are worth millions. An eccentric millionaire and author, Forrest Fenn, buried a 10in x 10in chest somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. In his book, Thrill of the Chase, Fenn featured a poem that contains 9 clues.
"Begin it where warm waters halt and take it in the canyon down, not far, but too far to walk, put it below the home of Brown," Fenn wrote. "From there, it's no place for the meek, the end is drawing up nigh. There will be no paddle up your creek, just heavy loads and water high. If you've been wise and found the blaze, look quickly down your quest to cease. But tarry scant with marvel gaze, just take the chest and go in peace."
Many people believed that the treasure was buried somewhere along the Montana and Wyoming border. Many of adventurers have gone out looking for the treasure. Some have even lost their lives.
According to the Santa Fe New Mexican
An estimated 350,000 people have hunted for Fenn’s treasure. Some quit their jobs to do so. But it’s had deadly consequences. At least five people have died while searching for the chest.
Forrest Fenn has confirmed that it truly is the chest he buried, and according to the Santa Fe New Mexican.
Fenn wouldn’t say where the treasure was found or who found it.
“The guy who found it does not want his name mentioned. He’s from back East,” he said, adding that it was confirmed from a photograph the man sent him.
