At around 11:45 Wednesday night, a Missoula Police officer observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on a one way street downtown. The vehicle was stopped near the intersection of East Broadway and Jefferson. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.

“The officer made contact with the driver who was identified as 27-year-old Dallas Davis,” Welsh said. “The officer learned that Davis was on felony probation and made observations in the vehicle that violated conditions of his supervision. The officer contacted Davis’ probation officer who requested a search of his person and his vehicle. Davis was found to be in possession of a substance that was later determined to be methamphetamine and he was placed under arrest.”

Davis was transported to the Missoula County Detention Center and he is currently being held for one count of criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

This is not the first time Davis has been arrested for drug related charges. On April 18, 2020, Davis was charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs for having methamphetamine. According to charging documents, Davis was on felony probation at that time as well.
