It’s Spring in My Back Yard

The first wildflowers of Spring have made their appearance in my back yard. The Yellow Waxy Buttercups have started to appear. The grass is getting green and our robin has returned to feast on fruit from the flowering crab. They have already started to establish their territory. Flickers have been tapping away on the roof vent for the furnace, that's their way of seeking out mates and claiming territory. Slowly but surely we're turning the corner into a new season.
