Hwy 12 Closure Lifted

After just a short time being closed, U.S. Hwy 12 over Lolo Pass has been re-opened. The Idaho D-O-T had closed it earlier this week due to avalanche danger. Weather conditions didn't happen the way the way they were predicted lading to less snow and warm weather.It's not the first time the road has been closed. Back in 2008 a major slide closed Hwy 12 for over two weeks until crews could clear the snow,trees  and rocks from the road.
