How Hi-tech Are You?

I’m sort of a traditionalist…I still have a CD changer in one of my home sound systems.  It’s the one in the living room. I like the simplicity of being able to put in just one CD or loading it up and setting it to shuffle for hours of play.

That got me wondering, how many of you still have a similar setup?  My latest  CDs of choice;  Kathy Mattea’s latest “Calling Me Home”, Patty Loveless “Mountain Soul”, Marty Stuart’s latest “Tear the Woodpile Down”, Chuck Pyle (The Zen Cowboy) “Keepin Time By The River”, and an all-female Cajun band  Evangeline.  Plenty of good music to keep me entertained for hours.  In fact as I write this I’m listening to it.

So if you have a changer, what’s in yours? I’d like to know.

Oh, one other thing, I still have a stereo system in the Rec Room that has a turntable and reel to reel. Some music is just better that way, and in many cases that’s the only way you can listen to it.
