For over three decades, Hamilton's summertime habit that is "Tuesday at 12" has been filling the noon hour weekly with free concerts featuring local musicians. And June 14, the 2022 series begins. It's a bright feature of the Bitterroot Valley summers.

Eleven Tuesdays in a row at 12 noon, music-lovers know that they can bring their lunches, along with lawn chairs or blankets, to the lawn of the Ravalli County Museum and devour some great local music along with their lunch. Some of the series regulars will be back, including The Bitterroot Community Band, Who Dat! and the Big Sky Mudflaps.

Organizer Russ Lawrence has included the current "cream of the crop" of area artists the fill out the schedule. By the way, if you're lucky, they sometimes play a little longer than the noon hour!

Tuesday at 12 was the brainchild of the late Jean Matthews, former co-owner of Chapter One Book Store. She and Russ wanted to provide a free noon concert series, but also wanted to make sure the local musicians didn't have to donate their time. So, the organizing group gathered sponsors that first year, to make sure every musician can be paid for their creativity. We heartily thank those sponsors for continuing their support, some of them for every single year!
