Missoula's Popular River Rod Run Returns This Weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? And if you're not interested in running in the Missoula Marathon, which I don't blame you for, by the way. I've got you covered if you're a gearhead. Heck, I suppose you don't even have to be a gearhead to enjoy the Garden City River Rod Run.

The 2026 Garden City River Rod Run is this weekend at Southgate Mall. The Five Valley Ford Club hosts the 24th annual charity car show at Southgate Mall, on the Scheels side, from 9 am to 4 pm.

I may have to take my ultra-sick Subaru Forester out to show it off to all of you gearheads. Everybody has their sweet Chevy Corvettes, Ford Mustangs, Dodge Chargers, and then there's me with my practical, boring Subaru Forester.

Registration will cost you $25 for your first car, and if you are lucky enough to have two sweet rides, the second car will cost you $5. You can register the day of the show from 9 am to noon.

All vehicles are welcome. They don't turn up their nose at your jalopy. You might not win any awards, but feel free to come by.
