The Hamilton Broncs ran up a 7 to 0 lead at the beginning of their semi-final contest against Billings Central in the State A Boys Basketball Tournament in Great Falls. But The Rams came back strong in the first half. The Broncs scored only six more points and Billings Central scored enough to lead at the half 31 to 13. The Rams led through the rest of the game, though Hamilton closed the gap in scoring. At the end of three it was Billings Central 45 - Hamilton 23 and the final score was Billings Central 63 Hamilton 51.

Billings goes on to the championship game Saturday night against Hardin, who defeated Butte Central in the other semi-final 79 to 73. Hamilton will play Browning Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. in loser out action. The winner of that game will play in the Consolation game at 5 p.m. against the winner of the other morning game between Butte Central and Livingston.
