The final score was Billings Central 28 to Hamilton 21 as the Rams took the State Class A Football Title for 2018. The weather was excellent for the game at Hamilton High's new sports complex. At the half, the Rams led the Broncs 14 to 6. Each team scored once in the 3rd quarter, with Hamilton putting together a 27-second drive for their score, and a Billings field goal attempt was blocked. Billings scored again the fourth quarter and Hamilton came back with the final score with one minute left, but it wasn't enough. Billings Central 28 - Hamilton 21.
Billings Central finishes the season with a 12 and 0 record, while Hamilton falls to 11 and 1. What a great season for the Broncs, though! In almost every game, the Broncs outscored their opponents by at least 35 points. That is quite an accomplishment! Now, the high sports season switches to basketball. In two weeks, KLYQ 1240 Radio will bring you the first round ball game of the Class A high school season on December 1st.
