Another Montana Grizzly basketball star has been recognized by the Big Sky Conference. And nice props on national TV, too!

Griz guard Michael Oguine on Monday was named conference player of the week for his incredible efforts in two road victories, particularly his amazing performance Saturday in Portland. In the two games, Mike scored a total 55 points, had 12 rebounds, six steals, five assists and a blocked shot. His 39 points against Portland State on Saturday earned him a feature on ESPN's Mid-Major Minute.

That 39-point performance is the highest single-game total by a Griz in nearly 8 years! And it's the second week in a row a Montana Grizzly has been named Big Sky Conference Ready Nutrition Basketball Player of the Week. Forward Jamar Akoh earned the honor last week.

The Griz are now 6-0 in conference play. Keep it going, guys! Big one in Bozeman Saturday.
