Who doesn’t love brownies? However, their chocolatey goodness is not always so good for you. Wouldn’t it be great if the brownies you loved were actually good for you? Well, these brownies are not as good for you as say a bowl of salad, but they are better for you than regular brownies. These are made using no oil and even have two fruits and a vegetable hidden in the recipe.

Good For You Brownies

1/2 cup applesauce

2 mashed bananas

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups finely shredded zucchini

2 cups flour

Mix applesauce, bananas and sugar in a bowl with a wooden spoon just until blended. Add the vanilla and cocoa powder and stir until blended again. Now add the salt, baking soda and zucchini and stir that until blended. Finally, add the flour and stir until blended. Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
