You don't have to be a "Swiftie" to show someone that they're your pal and that they mean something special to you.

One of the symbols that became synonymous with Taylor Swift's phenomenal mega-millions sold out Eras Tour was friendship bracelets. These inexpensive-looking little baubles enjoyed an amazing comeback that sent devoted fans into a frenzy, making hundreds to swap at each concert.

According to historians, no one knows exactly where friendship bracelets came from or how the tradition started, but they may have their roots in woven bracelets from Central America and Mayan weaving traditions. They eventually found their way onto the wrists of young Americans starting in the 1960s. Often handmade with colorful threads, beads, or other materials, they signify some form of bond, affection, or a shared memory.

Well, if you could use a little symbol of friendship this week, you are invited to a free friendship bracelet making event this Wednesday, April 23, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, at Missoula's Chick-fil-A,  2880 North Reserve Street. Chick-fil-a Missoula is hosting their first-ever friendship bracelet making event. Grab friends, family members or co-workers and come create a fun piece of jewelry.
Chick-fil-A  will provide everything needed with a large selection of beads to choose from. They have beads ranging from letters, dinosaurs, hearts, sports, pearls, Gummy Bears, smiley faces and so much more!
The event is limited to one bracelet per guest. Team members will assist in sizing wrists and distributing beads.
They would like to get a head count (or maybe wrist count) of how many people might be planning to attend. You can fill out the really quick and easy RSVP form here.
