A shooting incident at a Hamilton apartment Saturday night resulted in numerous felony charges against Tyler K. Butler. Butler appeared in Justice Court of Jennifer Ray in Hamilton Monday, January 6, and was charged with three felony counts of attempted deliberate homicide, along with charges of assault with a weapon, criminal endangerment and two counts of criminal mischief. Butler is accused of firing at least 67 shots from an AR-15 weapon during the incident at about 10:30 p.m. January 4th. There were bullet holes in the walls and doors of the apartment on Pintail Loop on the northeast edge of Hamilton. No one was injured in the incident. Butler is being held in the Ravalli County jail under $250,000 bond.
