Car Wash plus Heroin equals Arrest on Drug Charges for Suspect
Missoula police arrested a 28 year-old man on Wednesday evening while he was sitting in his vehicle at a local do-it-yourself car wash.
Public Information Officer Travis Welsh provided details.
“At about 8:44 p.m. on Wednesday, an officer was called to a car wash in the 100 block of Southwest Higgins,” began Welsh. “The owner had observed a male in a vehicle behaving suspiciously on his property and asked that the suspect and his vehicle be removed.”
Welsh described what happened after the responding officer arrived at the car wash.
“When the officer arrived, he made contact with 28 year-old Francisco Davalos while he was seated in his vehicle inside one of the vehicle bays,” he said. “The male appeared to have been engaged in drug activity. Evidence was collected and Mr. Davalos was transported to the Missoula County Detention Center where is being held for one count of possession of dangerous drugs.”
Welsh said the drug involved was heroin.
Davalos is set to appear in Missoula Justice Court on Thursday afternoon via video from the Missoula County Jail.
