Cats have long been associated with Halloween. But there's nothing scary about the latest feline up for adoption from the Humane Society of Western Montana.

In fact, she would be the purrfect playful companion for the long winter months coming after Halloween.

Bella paid a visit to the KYSS studio Tuesday morning as part of our Take Me Home Tuesday segment, where we feature wonderful pets seeking new families here in Western Montana.

She is what's known as a domestic long hair, and has a beautiful, glossy black coat with chocolate highlights. She has contrasting white markings on her face and four white paws. During her visit on Daybreak with Dennis, she quickly made herself at home, saying hello to everyone in the studio and exploring with curiosity, and without fear.

But Here's the Cool Part

Bella is actually part of a Cuddly Cat Two Pack. She was brought to the shelter along with her sister, Raven. Shelter managers want to keep the two as a pair since they've already developed a strong bond during their five years together.

Allison Cadler of the Humane Society tells us Bella and Raven are especially playful but mature enough to have outgrown their kitten problem causing and would make wonderful companions.

You can learn more about all the cats and kittens up for adoption right now at the Humane Society of Western Montana website. Walk-in adoptions are open from Wednesday through Sunday from 1 to 6 pm.

The Humane Society will be having its Fall Adoption Event this Saturday starting at 1 pm at Denny Menholt University Honda at 3600 South Reserve Street. Pets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, along with information about pet care.

Check the Humane Society of Western Montana website for more cats and kittens available for adoption.
