Art In The Allez! and More Shopping For The Holiday Missoula!
Come on! Let’s go to this place I found by accident and was quite pleased that I did. Allez! In the alleyway at 120 North Higgins in Missoula. Allez (Al-lay) Missoula’s revolving outdoor mural gallery, that just opened up a presentation of the work of four mural artists from across the country in its fall/winter mural exhibit called “The Ache for Home.”
Each artist explores in their own visual forms the need for community, connection, and the importance of a sense of home. According to their webpage, each of these individuals is from different a area in the United States, west to east, bringing not only their unique varying backgrounds and life experiences along with their artistic visions. Those artists' works are for sale through the gallery shop. Yes, you can view those online.
I’m a slow pony
This has been going on for a while with changing themes. For instance, the upcoming exhibit, Allez! 9th Annual Holiday Show is massive and happens in time for the holidays. November 4th through December 24th. It is a fantastic Annual Holiday Show with works by 100+ artists with truly one-off affordable artworks making it a wonderful opportunity for collectors and gift-givers alike. New works will be introduced throughout the run of the show so it is fun to return to see what is new. It’s a great place to take the guests if you have them drop in for the season as well!
I grabbed the definition from their webpage, if you have to ask, they say! Thank them! Allez! (al-lay): The French verb meaning “Come on!” or “Let’s Go!”
