You'll have two opportunities to see the Bitterroot Valley Chorus Christmas Concert this weekend. Over 100 chorus singers and musicians will be on stage at the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center Saturday evening, December 14, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoon, December 15, at 2 p.m. The theme this year looks to the sky with "Stars," according to director Peggy Bucheit. The stage will be full with over 90 members in the main chorus, over 30 in the youth choir and accompanying musicians including Tasha and Tim Fain, Jack Barnings and Tricie Callaghan-Stove. Tricie told KLYQ Radio that generations of singers participate each year - parents, kids and grandparents. The singers come from all over the Bitterroot Valley and have been rehearsing through October and November. The event is free to the public, but Tricie warned those who wait to the last minute to attend - don't! The 700-seat auditorium completely filled last year and some of the public were turned away.
