If your New Year's Resolution was to get more exercise and lose some weight, this might be the perfect event for you. The Snow Joke Half Marathon in Seeley Lake is an inexpensive, low-key run, and one of my favorite parts is that is it dog-friendly. You can get signed up here.

This is a USA Track  & Field sanctioned Montana State Half Marathon Championship, it's now the largest winter race in Montana, and is one of the oldest footraces ever in the state of Montana. The course loops around beautiful Seeley Lake with the start and end taking place at the Seeley Lake Elementary School. The event is set for Saturday, February 24th with the half marathon starting at 11am.

Another great aspect of the Snow Joke Half Marathon is that a portion of race proceeds benefit the Seeley Lake Outdoor Program. Montana Governor, Steve Bullock even ran this race back in 2015. If you want more information on the event, click here for their Facebook event page.
