Everything has a way of getting hectic around the holidays. And it sure feels like there's something new happening at Southgate Mall every time I turn around - they've been making announcements left and right. Sees candy is setup next to Champ Sports, Santa photos are starting up and running until Christmas Eve, you can purchase for those in need with the Wish Tree, the Winter Market is running out of the former Lucky's Market space until the spring, work continues on the new Scheels sporting goods store that'll open next year.......see, I told you big things were happening at the mall.

Just another little item to add to the list is the fact that Small Business Saturday is coming up this weekend. Online sales have already been huge for the big retail companies as businesses shift their Black Friday focus to internet deals this year. Local businesses have felt the pinch with an already tough 2020 - and Saturday is a day to show them our support. We have a great assortment of small businesses in Missoula and you're urged to spend a few dollars with them as you do your shopping between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

And since Southgate Mall seems to be the hub of activity, they also invite you to visit some of the small businesses that operate out of the mall.

Info from the Southgate Mall website:

Shoppers play a key role in helping small businesses in our community thrive. When you get out to shop, dine and explore local businesses, you are doing your part to support our community.

Nov. 28 is Small Business Saturday—a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country.

To celebrate, the first 200 shoppers in-store at Southgate Mall small businesses on Nov. 28 will receive a free tote!

Show your love by shopping small at these Southgate Mall retailers on Small Business Saturday and all year round:
