Huh? I wonder how many, what, 20-year-olds? Or 25-year-olds, looked at that picture and wondered what the heck is that!Hey, I can still remember the first time my boss bought me an electric one with the correctable ribbon in it. I thought I was in high-tech heaven!

Anyway, typewriter repairman Walter McCutcheon embraces the computer age---nothing against them at all. But he says there are folks out there that still need their typewriters repaired. Now, it's hardly a fast-paced, non-stop work environment. But that's okay, because Walter is retired and 60-70 repair jobs a year is plenty for him. But as long as he stays healthy and there are typewriters to repair, Walter plans to remain on the job. In Homer, Ohio, folks, so there would be some shipping and handling plus the repairs.

But it's getting tougher and tougher to find parts for those again typewriters. Walter's suggestion? Hey, search online!   DB
