Winter Games at Lost Trail

The 2013 version of the Bitterroot Special Olympics Winter Games got underway Tuesday at Lost Trail Ski Area. Craig and Al acted as emcees for the opening ceremonies. Bob Norbie State Executive Director of Special Olympics was there, making the long winter drive over Rogers Pass from Great Falls.

A good contingent of athletes from Bitterroot valley communities and from Missoula will compete for two days in various winter sports activities. This is the 32^ndyear for the event started by Randy Hodgson.
