Loose Elephants, Wild Moose And Now… Runaway Zebras
In the words of one of the best NFL coaches of all time Vince Lombardi:
"What the hell's going on out there?"
The New York Times reported that 4 zebras escaped their confines while traveling near North Bend, Washington last weekend. The zebras were en route to Anaconda, Montana with a woman who runs a petting zoo there. Long story short: the zebras escaped, three of them were recaptured and one was still at large as of Monday.
Let's do a head count. In the last three weeks, we've seen a runaway elephant in Butte, an invading moose in Helena, a migrating herd of bison headed for the Blackfeet Reservation and now zebras breaking away.

Is there an animal conspiracy going on? Is the animal kingdom relocating their headquarters to Montana? Something's fishy here... get it? Fishy...
I'm just saying, there's a new Planet of the Apes movie coming out next weekend. Is it a coincidence that all these zoo and wild animals break free around the release date? I think not. The new Apes movie may give our animal brethren some ideas to stand up and revolt against mankind. Before you know it these zebras and elephants will take over the Montana State Capitol. Heck, that wild moose was spotted scouting out Helena last week. He could've been scoping out the Capitol for their new digs.

All I'm saying is keep an eye on your pets. As I write, your dogs, cats, or livestock may be plotting against you.
Be diligent, my Homo sapiens.
