Temperatures around Missoula will be near 75 degrees for the weekend. Get outside and enjoy the weather as it looks like next weekend will be a bit cooler. Right now it's predicted to be a 15 degree difference between this Sunday and next.

Here's a look at what's going on around town if you're in need of some ideas to fill your weekend with fun.

 

BIKE NIGHT @ BAYERN BREWING
(Friday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Join us for Bike Night in the beer garden to support the Poverello Center! We will have the parking lot lined with motorcycles, a special menu with limited items and beer under the tent 🍻

All stations will be socially distanced, outdoor restrooms available, sanitizer and various hand washing stations, and masks worn unless seated with your group.

Motorcycle dealerships will be on hand and the Poverello Center, Inc. will be selling tickets for a raffle to win a rebuilt 1995 Harley Davidson Sportster.

VIRTUAL FIRST FRIDAY OCTOBER

Through the help of MCAT, we compiled videos of what local arts organizations and galleries have to offer for the month of October! Lots of your favorite art spots are open to the public this First Friday! There so many incredible shows and exhibits open for viewing this month, including fall favorite The Missoula Monster project at The ZACC, featuring monsters imagined by Missoula kindergarteners and brought to life by local artists!

Virtual First Friday will be available to view starting at 5 PM on Friday, October 2 on MCAT’s youtube channel, and will remain up after First Friday!

If you'd like to buy a pumpkin while you're out and about, they are now available at the Good Food Store, Rattlesnake Market, the YWCA, Imagine Nation Brewing and The Trough. CASA SUPERHERO 5K FUN RUN & KIDS DASH (VIRTUAL)
(Saturday/Sunday)
The CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Superhero Run is this weekend, October 3rd & 4th!

This Saturday, October 3rd is packet pick up morning at Imagine Nation Brewing, 1151 West Broadway, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. This is also the perfect window to do your run as we will be broadcasting the Superhero Playlist on Alt 101.5! So be sure to tune in while you're walking or running. We will be handing out race swag bags, superhero capes, race bibs, and CASA t-shirts to registered race participants on Friday, Oct. 2nd, 3-6:30 p.m. at Imagine Nation Brewing in addition to the Saturday packet pick up.

YOGA IN THE BALLPARK @ OGREN PARK
(Sunday: 10 AM)

For each event, $20 tickets include a yoga class led by community professionals and light, healthy fare to enjoy post workout. Stadium gates will open at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. class. Early registration and arrival are encouraged. Mimosas and other beverages will be available for purchase to enjoy with your meal and fellow yogis. All participants must bring their own yoga mat. Additional equipment such as a strap or block may be utilized but are not required.
