We’re ‘Lettin’ The Dogs Out’ on Daly Days in Hamilton
Saturday's Main Event at noon in downtown Hamilton is the annual Daly Days Wiener Dog Races. And that is THIS Saturday, July 27. We've had some champions repeat as winners, but the results are never guaranteed as some of the four-legged contestants become curious about the huge crowd of cheering humans around the short course (pun intended) on Main Street. It is followed by an event that is growing in popularity - the Adult Musical Chairs contest. The winner gets a free recliner from Bitterroot Furniture. That happens at 1 p.m. and is in the same location as the dog races (see photo below). The free Street Dance is Friday night with Joan Zen, the Daly Days Car Show is Saturday, and there are lots of kids (of all ages) activities from the Hamilton Downtown Association. The Daly Mansion is embracing the 1920s, with re-enactors in the building and fun for the kids outside on the immense lawns. Shuttles will be available between downtown and the Mansion on Saturday. And then, at 3 p.m. Saturday, the Bitterroot Brewfest takes over. What a weekend!
