We can't imagine too many TSA agents would be excited about waving their wands over this passenger at the security entry.

Luckily, it didn't come to that. Which is good, because we've all sat next to stinky passengers who take up way too much room in their seats.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks tells us that game wardens recently captured a black bear at the Bert Mooney Airport near Butte. And it appears the bear was more of a townie than a frequent flyer.

The bear was also seen in Butte the night before entering the airport property. But apparently it had not gotten into too much mischief, as there were no indications that the bear had obtained unsecured garbage or other attractants in town. So, Montana FWP staff sedated the bear, loaded it into a trap and released it west of Wisdom.

September is Bear Aware Month in Montana. FWP asks that if you do see a bear in town, contact a nearby agency as soon as possible.
