It's a one-way trip, and even if you'd like to mail your ex-spouse, it would probably be cost-prohibitive. But Astrobotic Technology (really) and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh are working on getting a privately funded lunar rover off the ground. They just launched moonmail.co where people can sign up to send keepsakes to the moon via MoonMail. But talk about postage and handling: A one-inch by two-inch package will cost about $26,000. And what does MoonMail think people will want to send one-way? Examples given were wedding rings and locks of hair. Right. I thought you were supposed to wish upon a star, not the moon.  But I guess we'll see.
