It was another delightful Take Me Home Tuesday in our studios, with nothing but good luck when a black cat crossed our path.

Allison from the Humane Society of Western Montana brought Walter in for a visit. He is about four years old, a bashful independent neutered male with a sleek and shiny black coat and captivating green eyes. Walter has been with the shelter for about a month now, and is in the prime of his life with plenty of good years ahead of him.

Walter is very sweet, loving and naturally curious. He's crazy about a good lap-sitting session and a window from which to look out upon the world. He is a cat of simple needs and also loves to rub against an available leg.

Even though many visitors to the Humane Society are looking for kittens, Walter is the kind of pet with just enough life experience to be low maintenance and a welcome addition to a forever home. In fact, the Humane Society currently has several sweet adult cats waiting for adoption.

Take Me Home Tuesdays is sponsored by our great friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor, Tremper's Shopping Center, Missoula. The Humane Society of Western Montana is open Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 till 6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday visits can also be arranged by appointment. They are located at 5930 US Highway 93 South, Missoula. You can meet more of the wonderful animals and learn more about the adoption process by visiting their website.
