And this my friends is why those of us in radio and TV are very mindful of the Federal Communications Commission. It's also why I don't perform my radio show in the nude anymore, but that's another story.

A TV station in Roanoke, Virginia inadvertently aired an X-rated image of a former adult film star during a story about her becoming a member of a local volunteer rescue squad. The image was on the screen for just a few seconds and was along the edge of the screen, but that was enough for the FCC to propose a $325,000 fine!

The TV station says they will oppose the fine, insisting that the clip was unintentional. I sure can't see any reason not to believe them. We'll keep an eye on the final outcome.
