‘Turkey Trot’ to Raise Money for Bitterroot Food Banks

A giant turkey will be wandering around valley towns this week, holding a cornucopia horn of plenty, accepting cash donations for food banks.

The man in the costume is Dominic Farrenkopf, who will spend a few hours in Stevensville Wednesday, November15; Darby on Thursday, November 16, and Hamilton Friday November 17.

This is the latest community fundraiser that Dominic has brought to the valley and the money raised will stay in each community's food bank. In Stevensville that's Pantry Partners, in Darby it's the Bread Box, and in Hamilton, the money will help buy food at Haven House.

So, when you see the "Dominic-sized" turkey, stop and donate some dough for the food banks.
