I'm a pretty big geek when it comes to movies and music, and I'm also pretty old-school. I'd much rather have a physical copy of a CD or DVD to put on a shelf - it ensures that I own it without having to rely on a streaming service, and I mean, I just like the way it looks in my apartment. Marie Kondo would probably chastise me, but it sparks joy and that makes it ok.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited about this upcoming event in Missoula: the 3rd annual Total Record Swap, coming to the Missoula Senior Center on Sunday, March 10th. A ton of vendors from neighboring states will be there from 9 AM to 3 PM with "with insane amounts of vinyl, CDs, tapes, DVDs, various memorabilia ranging from dollar bin to must-haves to eye-popping collectables." Plus, they'll have DJs on hand, food, the works. It sounds like a great way to beef up the music collection, so you can bet I'll be there.

There's a $1 entry fee from 10 to 3, or a $5 fee to get there at 9 AM for the early bird special, getting the first picks of the day. They're still looking for volunteers to help out, and if you want to be a vendor, you can register and check out the history of the event here.
