Tomorrow (1/14) is all about finding an alternate way to commute. You can help the environment and maybe score a couple bucks in the process. And as a bonus - our weather has been pretty amazing this winter so it might not be that bad if you opt for outdoor transportation. It's all part of Winter Clean Commute Day presented by Missoula in Motion.

A quick visit to the Missoula in Motion website will tell you exactly what they're all about:

"Join the thousands of Missoulians who pledge to walk, ride, carpool, take the bus, telecommute, or vanpool at least once a week. Sustainable commuting not only has a positive impact on your health, it also contributes to cleaner air and a healthier environment so that the Missoula Valley remains a vibrant place to live, work and play."

Missoula is such a great outdoor community and there's always a ton of people biking and walking to work......during the summer. This is a great reminder for us all to be conscious about the waste from individual vehicle use during the winter - when it's not quite as easy to get around without jumping in the car.

Details about the Winter Clean Commute Day that's happening tomorrow can be found on the Facebook event page HERE - or below:
