Therapy Dogs Help Kids in Courtroom

A child having to testify in court.  Just the thought of that can be heartbreaking, regardless of the kind of case it is.

Well, here we have the Delaware County court system in Pennsylvania, where dogs might be taking the stand in a manner of speaking. Associated Press gave us a feel-good report that dogs will be allowed to be on the stand for comfort for kids who have to testify in court. The dogs are from Paws for People, a therapy dog program in the area.

If anything can help a kid stay calm and overcome their fears, frights and nerves in a tense situation like that, it's probably a four-legged buddy. Here's KYSS Kudos to them for the effort.    DB
