The Will Of Will

After last night's amazing performance, outplaying arguably the best player  in the Big Sky Conference (Damian Lillard of Weber State), our guy has been honored again!

Montana Grizzly junior guard Will Cherry was named player of the week for the second time in 3 weeks. He shares the honor with a player from Eastern Washington but that's just fine. Will had 23 points and was just a rock the entire game, seeing to it his team was not to be denied a conference title. Mission accomplished with his 23 points and fantastic overall floor game. I'm surprised the crowd wasn't shouting, "MVP MVP MVP" down the stretch. He was determined to carry his team to victory. Now it's on to the conference tourney next week in Missoula. It's been far too many years since we've been able to say that! Will, it was a thrill! Thanks and congratulations! DB
