The Facebook Equal Sign…What Does It Mean?

I saw a few people including George Takei add the red and pink logo above which I have found out to be a newer version of the logo that represents the Human Rights Campaign. The HRC is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality. By inspiring and engaging all Americans, HRC strives to end discrimination against LGBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
