The Canine Classic Was So Much Fun!

Photo courtesy of Billy Jenkins[/caption]On Sunday at the Paws Up Resort, the Humane Society had their 7th annual Canine Classic fundraiser! What an amazing event and there was beautiful weather which made the day even better. During the fundraiser there was a half marathon, 5 mile race, and a 2 mile fun run for participants.

After the fundraiser there was a delicious BBQ catered by the staff at Paws Up and awards for top fundraisers and best times from the races that took place earlier Sunday morning. As you can see my wife Savannah had a great time too.

It was my first time attending and emceeing the event and I can guarantee that I will be there next year, even if it is just for my dogs to have fun with other dogs. Unfortunately I was only allowed to bring one of my two dogs, Gypsy my boxer couldn't come as she is still battling to beat a heart-worm issue she currently has. But Koda definitely had a great time socializing with the others, it was clear to see because as soon as we got home he took a long nap.
