Awesome! Tenacious D Is Coming to Spokane to Rock Your Socks Off
The band who wrote the Greatest Song in the World are getting ready to make an appearance in Spokane.
If I had to introduce this band onstage, I don't think I could stop myself from doing it exactly like Paul F. Tompkins does in their movie.
Ladies and gentlemen, TENACIOUS D!
Tenacious D is Headed to Spokane in June
The acclaimed rockers behind such hits as "Tribute," "Wonderboy," "Kickapoo," "Master Exploder," and "The Metal" are indeed making their way to Spokane. Jack Black and Kyle Gass are set to rock the stage at Northern Quest Resort & Casino on Monday, June 20th. Tickets will be going on sale on to the public on Friday, April 29th - info available at the Northern Quest website.
I've been a diehard fan of Tenacious D since I was about 13 - that's when The Pick of Destiny came out and changed cinema forever. I mean, like the song says, you know the movie's better than Citizen Kane.
So I've been hoping to see them live for a really long time, which means a road trip to Spokane may just have to happen. I mean, how could you not want to see them do this Beatles tribute on the stage?
Northern Quest has got a lot of exciting concerts coming up this summer, including John Fogerty, Barenaked Ladies, Flo Rida and T.I., Brad Paisley, and Stone Temple Pilots. You can check out their full lineup at their concert page.
Will you be making it out to Tenacious D in Spokane this summer?
