Missoula Search and Rescue along with Missoula Rural Fire crews recovered the body of a man from the Clark Fork River on Thursday afternoon.

Missoula 911 Dispatch received an urgent phone call on Wednesday evening from two hikers and their dog that were lost in the Grant Creek area following a long day hike.

Missoula County Search and Rescue search crews found Linda Maedche in good spirits, walking along the creek in the Petty Creek drainage, approximately 1.5 miles from her home.
