After a long Montana winter, most were ready for warmer temps, but were we ready for record-breaking temperatures already? For many of us, the answer is no.
While we all tried to beat the heat over the weekend, the heat has been causing some problems, from a couple fires to heat exhaustion to safety issues with people in the water trying to stay cool. We thought we hadn't been this dry since 1910 but it's actually longer then that.

I have two dogs that I will be keeping a close eye on this weekend, Gypsy my brindle boxer and Koda my flat coat retriever. Koda is a black and very furry dog so I will be extra careful with him, but all animals will need attention in the hot temperatures...
