One of the many pandemic-plagued lowlights of Memorial Day weekend, 2020, was the cancellation of the annual three-day St. Regis Flea Market.

Well, organizers will tell you that they've been given the green light. And barring any crazy rise in positive cases, they are ready to see you again in 2021.

With an odd calendar quirk, Memorial Day is not until the last day of May this year. So, consider this a little extra time to help you plan your visit to scenic St. Regis, Montana,  home to Montana's Largest Flea Market. Every Memorial Day Weekend for three days (Saturday through Monday), members of the St. Regis Community Council organize this fundraiser to benefit their town and those who enjoy selling or buying in western Montana.

In what would have been the annual event's 44th year, social distancing directives from the state of Montana forced the St. Regis Community Council to pull the plug on the 2020 gathering. But tentatively the Flea Market is slated to happen during its regular time over Memorial Day weekend, May 29–31. Hours are daylight to dusk all three days.

If you're looking for some good food, a bargain and the unique or the odd delivered with real hometown hospitality, St. Regis in the spring is a place to bookmark. A lively flea market with good people and affordable local amenities.

And if we understand things correctly, you can still reserve a space if you are interested in being a vendor this year. But the deadline for payment is this Saturday, May 1. You can get more details on the Flea Market registration page here. Booth space is just $95 for all three days.

If you're looking for some good fun that won't consume your entire weekend, we recommend the flea market. It's one of those shopping experiences that make your realize you didn't even know you needed it until you saw it!
