Last weekend, I finally visited Great Falls. In my three years of living in Montana, Great Falls was the last of the bigger cities I hadn't visited.

The Montana Broadcasters Association's E.B. Craney Awards ceremony was last weekend in Great Falls, giving me a good excuse to make the jaunt up to Great Falls.

Anytime Great Falls has been brought up in conversation, all I heard was "Oh, you have to go to the Sip 'n' Dip."

Sip 'n' Dip lived up to the lofty expectations.

Sip & Dip in Great Falls is a must-see

Let me lead off by saying Sip & Dip is not paying me to endorse them.

I loved the Sip & Dip. What an awesome bar.

It's a tiki bar with live mermaids swimming around on the second floor of an older hotel building in Great Falls, Montana.

That sentence shouldn't make sense, but here we are.

I texted some friends from out of state a video of the mermaids swimming. One of my friends replied, "I'm sorry, are we just gonna ignore this without any questions? There is a bar that has mermaids? In Montana?"

Another one of my friends responded, "That's f*****g incredible."

Indeed, it is, my dear friend.

The vibes were incredible. Between the mermaids, awesome tiki bar decorations, mini piano bar occupied by our guy Joel Corda, and the overall ambiance of being upstairs at the O'Haire Inn.

Oh, and all the fun, friendly faces occupying the upstairs tiki bar.

No notes. It was perfect, and I love it.
